  Pterocarya fraxinifolia             Caucasian Wingnut Tree                                        

Broadly spreading, deciduous tree with alternate leaves of 23+ pinnate oblong leaflets which turn yellow in autumn. Green male and female flowers appear in spring followed by long, pendant strings of winged fruit in summer.

Bark is rough grey with cracked appearance.
